Gideon Leiato brings a wealth of hands-on expertise in metering, CAISO inspections, and field service operations. Over the course of his career, he has commissioned and tested hundreds of energy sites, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and reliability at every step. Known for his sharp technical skills, safety-first mindset, and problem-solving ability, Gideon thrives in the field, whether troubleshooting complex systems, reviewing site plans, or guiding a project from start to finish. As a CAISO Authorized Inspector, his dedication to getting the job done right makes him an invaluable part of GridSME’s Grid Integration team.

Gideon began his career in the electrical and metering industry in 2014, holding both technical and leadership roles along the way. He also served in the U.S. Army Reserves as a Signal Support Specialist. Today, he continues to expand his expertise in Meter Engineering and the NRI process while delivering exceptional service to our clients.
