Sara Rhodes • Jun 21, 2023

Carlyn Marsh joins GridSME in a Business Analyst role on the CORRE team, where she will be serving both GridSME and GridSecurity. She recently completed her junior year at UC Davis, where she is working on a degree in Managerial Economics. Carlyn will work closely with Matt and other CORRE team members on a number of business management activities, including GridSME and GridSecurity’s accounting, finance, and reporting activities. Carlyn is a problem-solver at heart and loves improving processes. This will be a full-time summer internship position, and we hope Carlyn will stay with GridSME as a part-time employee when she returns to school in September, and then transition into a full-time permanent position after graduation.

Carlyn graduated high school at the age of 16 and took two gap years to experience working full-time with professionals in various industries and organizations. She already has over five years of professional experience working for various organizations in California and Germany, focused on education, agriculture, economic development, and nutrition. Carlyn gained experience in data analysis, economic research and development, fundraising, leadership facilitation, and policy work at those organizations.
